Jessica Smarsch
Jessica Smarsch is an entrepreneur with roots in design and product development. In her 15-year professional career, she’s traversed a rich path from design to project management to her current role as founder of the Constructing Connectivity stroke rehabilitation project. She currently works cross-sector with partners and advisors, coordinating many areas of development such as technical product engineering, software development, healthcare requirements, business planning & modeling, product design & development, and marketing & brand communication.
As a designer, I am passionate about improving the healthcare process through sensitive design and experiences.
Constructing Connectivity aims to disrupt the standards of healthcare with design sensitivity. Dignity, comfort, beauty, and creativity are seldom on the product requirements lists when developing a medical device. But those are precisely the values of Constructing Connectivity, a person-centered stroke rehabilitation method.
